Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A special item can be used to transform specific Pokemon. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc and is sometimes offered as a reward in Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be put in armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools to increase the level of their item. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, dependent on the kind of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to increase attribute bonuses or other effects while the equipment being used. The item being upgraded must have an upgrade slot that can accept the component, and most upgrade components require the item to be upgraded to be above an amount. Certain upgrade item s also come with special visual effects when they are applied to an item of equipment. Upgrade components are available through crafting, purchased by Karma merchants, or exchanged with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be salvaged from equipment and redeemed as rewards.
A variety of upgrade components are available, each of which offers a different bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, are able to be used with any kind of equipment; they provide smaller bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be utilized on non-amulet or legendary ascended items, and enrichments are able to be used on ascended back equipment. Inserting an upgrade component will cause the destruction of the previous upgrade. The exceptions are glyphs (which can only be inserted into gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and then reinserted.
Insignias and enchantments will show their names in the hover display of the item while prefix and suffix upgrades will add their name to the end of the equipment's name (e.g. for example, a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components added to an equipment piece will be displayed in the item's tooltip.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, such as ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you look up and insert these unique characters as well as standard glyphs such as em dashes and en dieshes registered trademark symbols, as well as characters that are not found in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides an initial boost to the stats of the character. The glyph may also include up to four secondary stats that will influence its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost that is multiplied by other bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you own that can be applied to the selected item. Make sure you select the right type of Glyph can be applied to the item you are looking for in that every weapon, jewelry or armor piece may have a different set of available Glyphs.
Glyphs can be improved by completing Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the dungeon is, the greater the amount of Glyph experience that you will get. Once a Glyph is at level 15 it can be upgraded by the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node each 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
Once a glyph has been elevated to the desired level You can activate it by selecting it and then clicking the "enchant" button. The resulting Glyph will give its stated benefit, and boost other nodes within its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should go in areas that can benefit your build the most. This is why you should consider Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs could also provide double bonuses if certain conditions can be met.
If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a number of views. Each of these views displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can reduce the number of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option beneath "Entire Font". For instance, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the choices to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a process in which you create a brand new account to give yourself more chances to access an item or character you are interested in. Sets

Upgrades can make a set more effective than it was prior to. For armor and weapons this means it will gain an increased base defense value and a lower strength requirement and a lower requirement for level.
Upgrades are an excellent way to bring popular single-set items up to the same level as their higher-tier set counterparts. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to an Elite Spired helmet will boost the defense from 217 up to 321 and decrease the strength requirements and levels to an achievable range.
However it's important to keep in mind that not all set items are candidates for upgradation. Some sets, like the FB Sorc spec's Whistan's Shield or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already Exceptional and Elite in their own right and don't require any upgrades. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit by being upgraded to boost their performance even more. It may be worth it to upgrade these items.
